Type design

A whimsical semi-serif typeface designed with the intent of combining the most notable characteristics of serif and sans-serif fonts.

Liquorice captures the many delightful characteristics of a serif with its elegant shapes, curves and bold contrast, yet it remains clean-cut and modern. This combination provides a playful balance that appeals to the eye. All together it is a very round yet pointy typeface that is made to stand out, however still remains comfortable to look at.

 

It is entitled Liquorice for the boldness and exuberance in the sound and aesthetic of the word, fitting perfectly with the aesthetic of my typeface.
