Ivana (she/her) is a sustainable, interdisciplinary designer from Toronto, Ontario. She holds a Master of Design from OCAD University, and a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Design from York University and Sheridan College. She also studied industrial design at Concordia University in Montréal.
Ivana's research and design practice is centred around storytelling with limited or no use of words. This highly visual and primal method of communication is more widely accessible. While proficient in a variety of creative methods, she is primarily a book designer, graphic designer, illustrator, and animator/video editor.
Ivana focuses on sustainable methods throughout her entire practice. She tracks use of material and waste, utilises environmentally friendly materials, and designs for a future where all living things safely coexist.
Ivana is currently a freelance graphic designer and video editor with a small business dedicated to creating hemp-based paper products and illustrations. She currently lives in Toronto with her fiancé Matt, cat Tegan, and dog Dexter.
